SmileAge Initiative Trust
SmileAge Initiative Trust (SAI_T) pioneers Healthy Ageing in India through "Health Literacy as a Social Vaccine", led by national and international experts across diverse disciplines. As a registered non-profit, they blend oral health, general health, and community empowerment to support well-being across all ages — aligning with WHO's definition of Healthy Ageing. Their approach treats health literacy as a social vaccine: empowering people to make informed decisions, stay healthy, and prevent disease through shared knowledge.
Mission
Advance healthy ageing in India by promoting equity in access to care, integrating oral and general health services, fostering inclusion, strengthening health literacy and prevention across the life course, and delivering evidence-based public health action.
Vision
An India where every person — regardless of income, location, or ability — has the knowledge, tools, and access to maintain health and dignity. A society where people age with confidence, nutrition, communication, and quality of life.
